Life is good, though the weather is not !

 Life is good when you can just sit back and watch the world go by.

 And sleep as much as you can !

Now that I am older, I prefer to stay indoor.

Here is my classic expression to tell Mom I am ready to go home.

Then again Mom will disagree and insist that I have adequate walk.

We have just celebrated our country's 47th birthday on 9 August 2012.
I am so thankful to be living on this beautiful sunny island.
May God continue to bless Singapore, my home sweet home.

I am going to be 10 years old soon.
Mom thinks that I look older now. My once big round eyes are getting smaller too.

I look so tiny under this tree yeah? Everyday Mom and I exercise at this beautiful park just next to our flat.

Nice Weather

Today the sun took a break! :) The weather is extremely nice! I had a lot of fun sniffing around the garden just below my house.

And I went home to find this! Yummy ! (The green tea's for Mom, of course.)

Good news

I am delighted to announce that with effect from this month, Mom will work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays! Hurray! That means I can "supervise" her and make sure she works haha. Mom warns me against becoming a PPP though - Pet Preventing Productivity. Ha! Mom wants to spend more time with me and achieve work life balance. Eventually she is planning to work from home completely. That means I get to walk 5 times a day! And lots of hugs and kisses and attention!

I am a bit skinny lately due to my BARF diet so my vet suggested that I take some carbohydrate e.g. sweet potato. So Mom boils sweet potato sometimes, or when she is lazy she will just feed me bread. I don't mind as I love bread!

Odie is very well recently. He is doing well with his new BARF diet and his medication to manage his skin allergy. He still needs to wear e-collar when not supervised but his condition is much better than before. Since December last year he was suffering from skin allergy. He would scratch himself and chew his paws. He had a few bald patches as well. But since end of March, he has been making slow and steady recovery. And he lost 1kg since February! He is now 5.6 kg but Mom thinks he should be at least 5.9 kg.

Ernie the bunny is doing well too!

Odie is experiencing pain on the neck-shoulder area whenever he lifts his head or turn his body. Mom and Dad are trying to find out what happens. Hope the Vet is able to diagnose and treat the problem.

Treat oriented

For sometime now, I have developed a habit of asking for a treat after every walkie. You see, after every walkie, Mom will wash my face and feet before releasing me to do my own thing. And you know how I hate water! So, a good treat will certainly compensate my big sacrifice, yeah?

P/S: If Mom is not working, she will bring me for walkie 4-5 times a day. You do the math hee hee...

Hee hee ... During my evening walkie, a silly tiny little rat came to me voluntarily... As a natural hunter, it is my job to chase and bite right?? Well, I did, but after one bite I drop the rat in the midst of mom's silly screams and all...Mom says the rat is barely breathing...Well, I can only say my bite is powerful wahahaha !!! Mom is not amused and vow not to kiss me tonight. She also warn dad...so this is me sulking ... come on...

Monthly Visit to the Vet

This is me on the way to see my vet. I have to see her every month to get the Catrophen injection as I have arthritis. I am much better in mobility thanks to the monthly injection. Still, Mom is careful not to stretch me too much that's why I am on my stroller. :)
