i know this is horrible!
when my little boy had this kind of pain,the vet made accupuncture,and it worked fantastic!The pain never came back.it seems that is a dachshund-thing to have this kind of pain.they have tooo long backs.
i hope you get help soon and sending you much energie and good thoughts.

Say it ain't so Odie! When that happened to me, I had to have cervical s-u-r-g-e-r-y ~ Yuck! Keep us posted and feel better my friend.
Awww thank you guys so much!! Thanks for all your well wishes. Odie is doing fine after 2 sessions of massage. He has gone back to his happy-go-lucky state but I am still cautious not to exercise him too much.
